This is the cutest freaking shit I‘ve read in a long while. Such a vibe and I enjoyed every single second of it.
I wanted to strangle Olive a few times because she was so oblivious but the also she so cute and adorable.
And Adam. *sigh* now I want a Adam in my life as well. He’s also so cute, but also so other 😏 the perfect combination if you‘d asked me. ☺️

Definitely not as great as BookTok made it out to be but then also not as bad as Book Twitter made it out to be.

Without creating spoilers, I adored Adam and watching his character unfold. I do struggle when a book is written from the heriones POV and she is clueless to everything I am seeing as the plot progresses.  I wanted to yell at her to open her eyes throughout 85% of the book.

While outside of my typical reading in terms of its academia setting,  I did enjoy this book overall. It was a simple, clean, feel good romance. It didn't leave me feeling completely wowed but hit the mark in terms of an enjoyable read.

I typically don't read contemporary romance—I usually stick to the complete opposite actually; fantasy, sci-fi and the likes. So this was quite the drastic change of genre for me, and I did not hate it one bit. It made me realize why one might prefer cont. genres over other more whimsical ones. It's comforting and relatable, and makes for a good story. Definitively a good read.
