nope nope nope. I had so many issues with what happened during grad school mostly at school between a grad STUDENT and professor- for real just nope- kiss without looking who!? then sitting on his lab during a SCHOOL lecture?!? then texting about another student. nope nope and the whole why - it felt like middle school.
the same phrase and words where used over and over
adam was just so big and she was just so tiny- your a smart ass over and over
The writing is just bad like bad
Also this is not spicy its a 3/5 and just a 3 with bad sex. - and only once and no condom but they are fake dating and then again just cringe sex - wtf

nope this was a wtf book for me and why the hell

Maybe it’s because grad school at an big school aka true academia is just so fucking toxic and this shit on title 9 until it mattered to her but for real this book is so problematic - I just can’t

Yes I’m being harsh as this would have been DNF

This is, without a doubt, one of the best books I’ve ever read. It now lies happily in my top 5 favorites of all time. What a great book, and an even better love story!! Can’t wait for the new releases this summer!!!!

This was the 2nd Ali Hazelwood that I read. I definitely liked it less than Love, Theoretically, I think mainly because it felt very similar but a little cheesier. For example, Olive's love of cheese was just weird and not necessary in my opinion. But, I loved the fake dating trope and I found that the details about academic process added to the believability of the story.
