The Firefly/ Mass Effect similarities reviewers have been saying is an apt description. It is a wonderful story about some very unique characters. I can see those with an ethnocentric bias not appreciating it, but I absolutely loved it. Best read of 2016 so far!

I liked this book! I've been trying to break into reading scifi so I was looking for a fun and light intro into the genre. This was perfect. It was character-driven, lighthearted, and really delightful. I think that it's a great intro to scifi that would also please seasoned readers.

A hugely enjoyable, gripping read that I thoroughly enjoyed. The crew of the Wayfarer have wormed their way into my heart, and I loved exploring this universe of different alien species and sentient AI and a variety of cultures. Highly recommend.
