Since it is apparently the second book in another series, it is a bit confusing, but I still felt like it could have all been explained better. Pacing felt very off and fast.

After seen so many reels on Instagram of this book, I had to see what all the hype was about and I must say, i wasn't disappointed!
The story mainly focuses on Nathalie le Fey, a witch from long line of black witches, who has always seen lesser than others, by her family members. After a failed ritual, she ends up haunted by the Lucifer himself. While trying to get in terms with her current problems, her past start to catch up with her and something more sinister is going on.
Even as one of the big parts of the story focuses on Nathalie's love life, there is much more in the story than just that.
The book is written in four different point of views, Nathalie, Lucifer, August the incubus and Marcel the witch. It has a lot what good books should have, not just right away overpowering heroines and heroes, but even just in this book you can see many characters grow as persons too. Erotic scenes are tastefully written and not overpowering the actual plot, but it actually fits where it belongs to.
Only reason why I don't give this book five stars is because sadly it ends in a cliffhanger, which would have been a nice warning.
Overall If you like books like Anita Blake the vampire hunter, you will most definitely going to love this book too.

Loved this book, could not put it down. Nat is a witch who at first glance appears weak, but she has more strength and magic than you know. She also has 3 very complicated relationships that provide a lot of tension and some wonderful snark. Add in the mysterious deaths and her missing twin and this story kept me on the edge of my seat. Be warned it had a doozy of a cliffhanger and I really can't decide which way I want it to go. I will be anxiously awaiting the next book to find out though.
Twists!
Nathalie’s story and I’m so glad she got her own story and also went a little more into detail about the bond with Lucifer and what happened in her family. Hooked I have to see what happens!!!

This was such a good book!!! I loved Nat in the previous books, and I love that we now get her story! But the ending was terrible frustrating! Good thing it isn’t the end of the series!
