A Scandinavian mystery crime thriller, sign me up lol. The atmosphere of this book is gripping. It’s also a police procedural that takes the readers into the detectives thoughts and processes of trying to solve the case. With new information coming up you’ll keep questioning the possible suspects. The storyline is thrilling and well paced. The characters are well written and interesting. This book is a page turner and kept my interest. The Tenant is suspenseful, has twists and turns, is engaging, and has a surprising ending. I really enjoyed reading this one.

I feel like I have whiplash from the twists and turns in this book! What a storyline! I think this book was more who-dunnit drama more than thriller but there’s nothing wrong with that!

I love a good police procedural - and this delivered in spades!

The story of a young woman’s murder is told through the eyes of her landlord - Esther, an aspiring crime writer, and the Jeppe Korner, the policeman in charge of investigating the murder.

This is the type of story that has family drama, crime, police work, alllllll rolled into one!
