My favorite in the series so far! Love the mystery of each book and diving deeper into the world Harris has built.
Another book in the Sookie series. This one was good and fun to read. I like Eric and I always enjoy reading his parts.

When you pay more attention to tracking and kerning than to the plot, it means that the story isn't interesting or it isn't very well written. I would say the story and characters weren't that bad (they could have been developed, though, not to mention that Sookie still got on my nerves in this one.) The writing is where it fell apart for me. It could be much better, especially for a best-selling book series! I'm afraid I'm done with Charlaine Harris. I'll just stick to the TV show. Season 2 was very different from the books, but at least the acting was good and the shooting, too.
This may have been my fave of the series so far!
