Interesting plot with some unpredictable twists. I was annoyed by some writing mishaps and Sookie's being religiously prejudicial and sometimes repetitive. Mostly, this is nice flowing story you can sit back and relax with.
"In "Dead to the World" (book 4), one night after work Sookie drives home to find Eric running down the side of the road in nothing but pants with no idea who he is. Sookie helps him out by letting him stay with her and informing her other friends about the witch who did this to him ... since the witch wants more then Eric for his body ...... This story is mostly about the budding relationship of Eric and Sookie, which is why I give it 5 out of 5 stars!!"

While not too bad I always take a long time to get into these books. I'm not too fond of the 'sexy vampire' trend, and Sookie gets on my nerves a but too much for me to really enjoy a book with her as the narrator, but there is a certain addicting element to them. And I always have to finish series.
Certainly nothing spectacular. My least favorite so far of the series. Couldn't really get all that into it. Seems like each book has a supe du jour.. this one was witches. meh.

Whilst this series started off kinda slow and a bit badly for me, the last couple of books have definitely helped it pick up for me. So much so that I can't wait to read the next one, however I will have to wait. It's so pretty as well which definitely added to the allure of this plot.
