Excited to see how the series ends. However there was less movement in the story than I would have liked. Feels like it was all a setup for book three. Some characters had growth (good or bad is up to you dear reader) but most stayed the same or regressed.

I liked Libbys story and curious how she will continue to grow. 

Gideon continues to be an incredible character that keeps me reading. 

Callum is explored deeply and I find him far more interesting this book.

Nico, Reina, Atlas, Parissa, Ezra, and Tristin did a lot but did not really get expanded on as characters. Feel they were basically the same as the beginning. Potentially even regressed from their growth in book 1.

We gained information but we are more or less exactly where we ended in the first book. With the exception of the last chapter of Ezra

I couldn't care less.
Якщо перша частина була цікава претензійними персонажами (типу) із сірою мораллю за малим сюжетом, то тут... персонажі ті ж самі, не розвиваються, а сюжет як такий відсутній. Авторка займається висвітленням пласких характерів в різних ситуаціях, що обертається суцільними самоповторами через те, що герої мають одну (1) рису і проявляють себе однаково всюди за всіх обставин. Чи вивозять все псевдофілософські діалоги? Нєа. Чи сильна тут складова фізики і всієї тої квантової теорії і стрибків у часі? Забудьте про те, головне ж показати, які герої нев_бенно дарк-академічні в декораціях англійського маєтку.
(Я навіть одиницю не хочу ставити, бо мене не бісить книга, вона просто ніяка, нема достатньо сильних емоцій її хейтити.)

Апд: побачила відгук, де сказано, що найкраще в цій книзі - арти із зображенням персонажів. Релейтебл, арти шикарні і набагато кращі за обидві книги.

Well, all the characters are still morally grey. I guess that's expected when all you have in life is power and no purpose except to seek more power
