I feel like I spent so long listening to this book, when in fact, nothing actually happened in the plot…

I hate my completionist self who is going to put myself through another 21 hours of the series that no one liked the ending of (and I don’t see myself liking it either, despite having a cool concept), but I guess that’s how the cookie crumbles.

They did have interesting conversations about who should be able to access the power and Libby’s whole time travel thing, but not enough was actually meaningful and contributing to the plot or making me want to continue reading; most of this book was in fact my brain just going whawhawhaw like the adults in Charlie Brown.

I haven’t decided how much much I like this book and whether or not I’m gonna read the next one in the series. I always appreciate a book where no one seems like they’re exactly the hero. I will say that if you’re gonna read this book, you should check out the audiobook, because the voice acting is great.
