I didn't love this book as much as I did the first one. I found it to ramble on a bit and there wasn't really a plot per say. Throughout this book, I feel like the author doesn't know what she wants to talk about anymore.

Overall this was a drag to get through so much so that it gave me a bit of a book slump 🙈🙈

en vrai j’ai trouvé y’avait vachement de longueurs, il se passe pas grand chose dans ce tome, mais je suppose que c’est tout l’intérêt pour donner un côté scientifique au livre, tout ça, tout ca

Just as enjoyable as the first book, but a little more so with a few Gideon POV's. Obviously the plot unfolds quite a bit more, leaving me both a little confused and disappointed (at the end), but nonetheless intrigued. Prepare to look up definitions of words and maybe even certain concepts. Olivie Blake doesn't leave the reader doubting her vast knowledge of the topics touched upon in this book.
