Zu aller erst: Charakter fokussierte Bücher: I LOVE IT!

Mindbending.

If you managed to get through the philosophy, science, and infuriating (affectionate) characters of book 1, then book 2 is an easier read - although there is more science, philosophy, and faults of a human nature, the developments the 6 go through after initiation kept my interest. Expect: time travel, murder, god complexes, Callum is his own warning, alcoholism, terrible communication between characters, and a man-child who really should not have messed with Libby Rhodes.

Interested to see how it all concludes!
slow-paced

Classic "second book in a trilogy" syndrome - dealing with the fallout from the first book and setting up the final conflict for the last book. So, okay, but not anything terribly exciting, either.

I do enjoy the Reina/Callum dynamic, though, not sure what that says about me lol

2,5 ⭐ I'm honestly not sure why I dragged through this because from page one onwards, I was confused and felt too stupid for this book (instead of a magical, dark academia read, it was more of a physics 101 lecture) Also, I feel like nothing happened in this book? Maybe it's because of the multiple pov's, but looking back, there were 2 main events going on and that's it
slow-paced
