Im rating this book as a 2 only because it was almost a DNF for me, and the only reason it wasn't is because I hate to DNF, and I loved her Broken Earth series. I found it repetitive because you are meeting 4 different characters but meeting them in essentially the same way, so it was just kinda like I get it already they each represent a borough. The best part of the book was the climax right at the end of the book, and then it was done. Her writing is great, as always, and I understood the message. Idk I cant put my finger on exactly why it didnt hit. Maybe if it had been a bit funnier? I could see it as a movie because I think you could have a lot of cool visuals in there, I just think that part fell a little flat in print.
