This was laughable. Nothing happened for at least a third of the book then there was suddenly a dramatic event without introducing the perpetrator at all beforehand. Shallow, unbelievable characters and events. Unrealistic and two dimensional.

Enjoyed this, agree the 'thing' happened too far near the end, and I can't fathom why the author would have put the part in about what the father-in-law did to her, it served no purpose, and the son just dribbled away with no further issue - wonder if perhaps a series could be in the future for this one, as she hands the business over to her children, perhaps some battles there, I'd read a follow-up if there was one.

I thought this book was too dramatic on description and details and was lacking somewhat in dialogue. I liked the concept of the story, but was disappointed in the layout of the book at times.
