This was my first introduction to Layla Hagan and I will definitely be reading the other books in the Connor family series. Hagan delivers a satisfying contemporary romance with characters you cannot help but fall in love with. The Connor family is amazing and it was great to see Brooke interacting with Jace’s family, especially because this lets her see a different side to Jace than how he was portrayed by the media.

The storyline was well developed and Hagan thoroughly explored the reasoning behind why Brooke was wary of entering a relationship with Jace. Alternating between Jace’s and Brooke’s first-person perspectives allows the reader to see Jace’s struggle between respecting Brooke’s wishes and his own, strengthening feelings. The reader is also able to sympathize both with Jace’s frustration and Brooke’s desire to maintain personal and professional boundaries. There is very little drama or distractions from Jace and Brooke’s developing relationship apart from a subplot involving a jealous teammate. This subplot is introduced gradually and flows naturally with the main storyline.

Oh Jace. You finally got me to swoon and fall in love with you harder than ever. He's not the playboy that his family and the media think. He's the sweetest, most successful soccer player, and a very humble guy. With all that said and done...maybe a relationship wouldn't be so bad for him. Brooke is the head coaches daughter. She happens to get a job at the offices for her dads soccer team. Her last job ended in disaster so she's determined to make her way despite her familial connection. Both Jace and Brooke wanted to avoid mixing business with pleasure and despite how hard they tried to stay away from one another (sarcasm), they were just constantly drawn together. I admired that Brooke was so concerned about her job and what her co-workers would think of her. I don't like that she was reprimanded when it came to her job and Jace. I love that Jace fought for Brooke. These two brought out the very best in one another.

I love the Connor Family and Jase is finally getting his HEA. Pro Soccer player is finding love on the field, okay maybe in the management office. Brooke Derringer is the new sponsorship manager who just happens to be the coach’s daughter. So you know they will be sneaking around and hide their relationship – always the best idea. When people start finding out their relationship are they ready to Fight for their Love.

This is a sexy office romance with family drama and bitchy co-workers on the side. Love family dinners and getting all the update information on the Connor Family. Another great family oriented read; I’m just not ready for this series to end but I can’t wait for Hailey’s story.

Another wonderful addition to the Connor Family series! Filled with delightful characters you'll fall in love with, witty banter that'll keep you laughing through the tears, and a story line that will leave a smile on your face. You can't go wrong with any book in this series!

Finally the book I was waiting on, I’ve loved Jace in every single mention in other books and I am so happy to finally read his book! The Connor family have crept their way into my heart and I think I might’ve been rooting for Jace from the very start.

His romance with the coach’s daughter was a must read from the get go. Now you might know that I love sports romances and especially when there’s a small element of a forbidden romance in it, I just love it so much more.

Jace and Brooke were cute and adorable from the start, amazing in the middle and breath taking at the end. I hope to read a lot more from them in the future, even if it’s just mentions in other books by Layla!

I can’t believe there’s only one more book left in the Connor family series, but I can’t wait to find out what Layla is going to come up with next. Every single book that I have read by Layla since I first read any thing by her, have been absolutely incredible and I feel so lucky to receive these books. I love devouring them and always feel sad afterwards when I’ve finished them!

Any book by Layla Hagen is like a wonderful treat on Christmas morning. This book is one of my most anticipated read in the series because I've been waiting for Jace to tell his own story. Plus, who wouldn't want to fall in love with a sexy soccer player? Alas, Layla Hagen delivered another heart-warming and satisfying romance with a much-needed drama and incredible dynamic between a family that wouldn't let you down. The plot and pace of this story are very well-adjusted, making it easy for readers to relax and just enjoy until the very end.

Jace is the youngest of the Connor siblings. He's charming in every way possible, has a credible reputation as a professional soccer player, and is trying to leave the playboy image the media portrays him to be. Right around the corner, he found Brooke. Brooke is the newest addition to Jace's Soccer Club in charge of all the players' sponsorship deals. But, she's also the coach's daughter which makes her totally off-limits. With both, their jobs on the line, crossing the relationship border between colleagues and lovers would be like walking a tightrope. Despite it all, the attraction, sexual chemistry, and their fun-flirtatious banters might just blow everything right off the waters.

It is always a pleasure reading this kind of romantic trope because in the end, you won't be disappointed. But it's always a surprise to find what the author had in store for our characters. Gotta say, this might be the most angsty Layla Hagen story ever been. I've never been so invested in seeing these two through ups and downs and back again. I'm kind of reeling and looking forward to see the next book in the series. I know it'll be sad to see the last installment and the end of the series, but I'm sure Layla Hagen will come up with another excellent romance series.
