We know of both Nadya and Gareth from the previous two books in the Moon series, but BLOOD MOON brings their story to the front as they find out they're mates and fight to find a way to save Nadya from the death sentence that the bite in book two cursed her with.

I ended up liking Nadya quite a bit. The strength that she shows while going through what she is going through was absolutely inspiring. Her determination and stubbornness shines through in pretty much every chapter of BLOOD MOON. Gareth is still in a lot of pain over the loss of his twin brother. He has isolated himself from his pack and is ready for a fresh start. As soon as he touches Nadya he knows that she is his mate, but he can't stand the thought of losing one more person in his life. I really enjoyed how Nadya and Gareth fit together. They both end up healing each other and growing stronger together, but there is a lot of struggle to get there.

I was able to read BLOOD MOON pretty quickly. It didn't seem to involve as much as the previous books in the series did, but it was still enjoyable and i felt like I knew the characters pretty well by the end. I liked the addition of Gareth's ancestral stories and they way that they played into the book. I would have liked to see there story fill a few more pages, but I was happy to get what I got. I'm excited to see who's story is next and to hopefully see them make a dent in Nero and the troubles they are causing the pack.
