White. Powder. Coke. Blow. Line. Snow. Rock. Cocaine. Crack
This book was so good to me! This is what blossomed my love for urban fiction all those years ago. Tracy Brown says in her author’s note that no one wins in the drug game. My heart broke several times over on this journey. White Lines shows us that there are so many losses, but the triumphs are the real prize. As a reader, I was satisfied with the ending but there are two more books in the series. I’ll absolutely take my time getting to those.

What a beautiful story, i honestly don’t even know what to say. Jada and Born will go down as one of my favorite couple ever. This book deals with a lot of themes of forgiveness, forgiving yourself and others. I love how much time it spanned, bc it felt realistic. The things they were dealing with could not be solved over a month or even a year. The ending i feel is the best thing that could have happened for them given the situation and i look forward to the next books in the series.

Great ghetto romance. Normally I don't do romance or urban fiction. This book so erased my "snobbish" mentality. This is a good story I could relate to. The character became my friends in my head. I cared about what happened to them. Can't wait to see what happens to Sunny.

An instant classic
It's been 14years since the release of this book and I've read it numerous times over the years and I can't get enough. I've the physical book and the ebook. I feel exactly the same when I read it, knowing exactly what's going to happen next. That is what classics do. These characters feel so real and the situations are relatable. It's well written and is the reason I began writing my own stories. This is a book you will not be able to put down!

I will not spoil this book, however, Tracy Brown (may she RIP) wrote this book beautifully! This was tough to digest, but this is something people (and those who love them) go through when they have family members addicted to drugs. This book highlights REAL LIFE for many people, especially during the time the book is based, cocaine broke up so many families. The ONLY thing that I HATED about this audiobook were the sound effects. I hated them so bad, they sometimes overpowered the narrator; and they weren't needed. Allow the reader to imagine the sounds, music, etc.!

I remember buying this book when it was first released 12 years ago,and it becoming one of my favorites. I let my friend borrow it and never got it back. Anyways I’m rereading all the books I fell in love with as a teen/young adult and had to repurchase this one. I didn’t really remember anything that happened aside from her being a crack head….so it was like experiencing the book for the first time. I never read part 2 or 3, but I did purchase them and hopefully get around to them soon.
