I spent most of this book wondering why I liked the first one enough to read the second.
I liked the plot twists, but for every conflict that happens Isolde and Adrian just fuck it out and nothing ends up resolved. The ending was too abrupt, I’m fine with a cliffhanger but it felt like it ended right when it was getting good
