I started this book and was thinking been there done that. But I kept at it because Dakota Cassidy gives Nina such great dialog. But somewhere along the way the story became totally fun and different. WTG Dakota Cassidy!

Sam finds himself left on the doorstep of OOPS in the dress he wore to the company Halloween party. He has no memory of how he got there. He finds himself fanged and fabulous. Nina, Wanda & Marty are doing their best to help him come to terms with his new condition when Phoebe Reynolds —a woman who claims to be Nina’s sister—storms into the office and causes a catfight that ends when Phoebe is accidently bitten by Sam’s recently formed fangs. With two noob vampires and the mystery of who bit Sam and left him the women of OOPS have a whole passel of troubles.

Laugh out loud funny. It starts out slow but picks up and takes off like a cuss out of Nina’s mouth.

The girls are back this time with a strange vampire dropped on the doorsteps of the OOPs office. Other than having one crazy work party Sam wakes up in a dress after a one night stand to find out he's a vampire. As if that's not enough one of the councilors sisters just so happens to show up and he bites her butt. Now a stranger Phoebe is a vampire thanks to an accident but that's not all they aren't like any of the vampires in the area.

As the group deals with the surprise new vampires Nina has her own issues with her sister who she didn't know existed and is now a vampire showing up. While Phoebe didn't expect her sister to welcome her she hoped that they would have a chance to talk. As they learn that the vampire who made Sam mysteriously dies they start to investigate the company he's investigating learning that they may just be the ones who are making the vampire and time is running out.

I love that the prior girls keep showing up in each new book but we do have a couple that takes center stage. The chemistry between Sam and Phoebe is hot but at first she thinks he's in drag lol. It's a good thing that changes and they pair don't have to deny the attraction between them. Only Sam has a secret that may change everything that is if they make it out alive.

I've been a huge fan of the Accidental Friends series each book just keeps getting better and has new supernatural beings plus we get the prior characters intertwined. The urban fantasy concept is one of my favorite add in a happy ever after and a little humor it all just works out perfectly. I really enjoyed the twist on the vampires in Accidentally Dead, Again it jut works great. The characters are well developed and easy to connect with I just adore all the girls and the guys have all redeemed themselves. One of my favorite series each novel is captivating hard to put down and a beautifully written happy ever after. Highly recommend.

Accidentally Dead, Again, Accidentally Friends #6, by Dakota Cassidy
Grade: B+

“I was the baddest ass in the land from kindergarten right up until graduation, buddy. You’re really giving your nerd prowess some serious ego. I hear a lot of hype, but I’m not seeing a lot of proof. Your serve, ninja geek.”

Sam McLean never thought going to a Halloween party for work would turn his life upside down and inside out. After a fuzzy night with a beautiful woman Same ends up at OOPS headquarters, still dressed in drag and now a vampire. OOPS helps new paranormals adjust to their new lives and talents but things go very wrong when long lost sister shows up and Sam accidentally bites her.

Phoebe Reynolds went to OOPS to find her half sister that she never knew about not to be turned into a creature of the night. Now with Sam and the ladies of OOPS they must figure out why the two new vampires have powers no one else has. When other vampires start dying horrible deaths the group must find out who’s trying to make a super race of vampires and how to stop others from dying. Working so close together Sam and Phoebe soon are struggling to keep their hands off one another but they have to learn to trust each other and finally share the secrets that could change everything.

Accidentally Dead, Again is one of the funniest books I’ve read in a very long time. This was my first experience reading anything from Dakota Cassidy and after reading ADA I am going to read all the books in the series. Even though this is the sixth book in the Accidentally Friends series I had no problem jumping feet first into the crazy world of OOPS and not feeling lost. From the very beginning the book is full of snark and it keeps going until the very last page. This keeps things fun and kept me snickering the entire time.

Sam MCLean is a nerdy scientist who get bitten after a one night stand on Halloween but Sam has lots of skeletons in his closet and is not at all what he seems. I loved Sam, especially since he wore a cowboy hat and was a geeky nerd or so I thought. Even though most of the snark was left to the ladies Sam has some great one liners and I loved him and Phoebe together. The chemistry between the two is smoking hot and it never felt forced or too cheesy.

Phoebe took me by surprise and I ended up really liking her. At first she comes off as a ditzy, fashion princess but we soon discover she is one tough cookie with a mean streak. Nina who has been in previous books and is one of the members of OOPS is Phoebe’s half sister and a vampire. The relationship between these two is a big part of the book and the battles of words these two have is amazing. Some of the things these two fling at each other had me laughing out loud and unable to stop.

I only had two problems with ADA and one isn’t even very big. My small problem was I had no idea where the three ladies of OOPS, who are all married, husbands were at during this time. It really confused me and I kept thinking “why isn’t Nina’s husband here trying to save her half sister?” I just found it really strange. My biggest problem was with Nina and how horrible she was to everyone. Maybe I need to read her book to better understand her but there were many times when I was praying that Phoebe would clock her and make her shut up. I might have missed something but after a while her I’m-broken-and-mean attitude got on my nerves.

This was such a fun book and I am so happy I found a snarky new series to read. I highly recommend the Accidentally Friends series to all fans of paranormal romance and this book especially. I haven't had this much fun reading a book in a very long time.

I love this series!! I was laughing from the first sentence on. It was fun, it was funny and once again I fell in love with the characters. Each time I read one of these books, I feel like I'm visiting friends. Nina, Marty and Wanda are always there and always make me laugh. Phoebe will be a great addition to the group.

The paranormal girls are back again!!. The Girls go to investigate were some New Vampires are comming from and why they are dying very fast.
The story was good and funny like the other books, but very much the same as the rest of the series. I have to say it took me a little longer to finish this one maybe because is very repetitive

What to say, what to say?

Solid entry in the Accidental series I am pleased to say that Sam is exactly like I pictured a hot-nerd and yet so much more.

And the Phoebe-Nina thing? Wow, handled perfectly.

Predictable, as ever, with similar plot lines as the other books in the series. Cozy read with fun characters, there was less of the obnoxious Nina crap after the initial opening... she was toned down a lot. I hope it stays that way.
