The villian of the story started monologuing about his horrible childhood and how he hated the MMCs because of their love.  On top of that, the trope of "he-is-into-'weird'-BDSM" was just an no for me.

I was already uncomfortable with the framing and the horrible childhood addition made me go "Really?? That's the route we're taking????"

The insta love story felt a bit rushed to me and I agree with the other reviews here about the 0 to 100 sexuality. The MMCs are incrediblely horny for each over. Don't let the cover fool you.

…what the hell did I just take half a month to read.
The mystery was just not very well crafted. Like blatant plot errors about who committed the crime is in the text and it really took me out of the story when reading. The sex scenes were a lot more then I thought than they’d be and yet they also felt like they were written by  someone who just learned that gay sex is a thing.
With that though somehow it was still a fun read most of the time, like I always wanted to keep reading. I wanted to find out the mystery even with all of its flaws
