This was such a fun audiobook!  My first listen from the Queer Liberation Library, and my first book by Max Walker.

The 2 narrators (Javi Wilder & Simon Dornet) crushed it. 1st person dual POV.

This book is horny af y’all.  Noah & Jake both love d!¢k, and we get to hear all about it. *not complaining* but like be warned.  It goes 0-100 many times.

Fast paced thrilling love story with lots of spice. It was a great time and I will be continuing with the series.

I really don’t have any complaints. I just wasn’t obsessed with it to the point that I’ll remember it in a week.

what I loved:
📍 set in Atlanta, Georgia
🌈 MM romance (bi & gay)
📚 [queer] book club found family
🤝 friends to lovers
🔎 mystery stalker storyline
🧮 accounts payable rep
❤️‍🩹 no third act break-up

what I didn’t love:
🔥 insta-love

Don't be fooled. No matter what. Booktok tells you, this is not a spooky monster story. The monsters are people.

…what the hell did I just take half a month to read.
The mystery was just not very well crafted. Like blatant plot errors about who committed the crime is in the text and it really took me out of the story when reading. The sex scenes were a lot more then I thought than they’d be and yet they also felt like they were written by  someone who just learned that gay sex is a thing.
With that though somehow it was still a fun read most of the time, like I always wanted to keep reading. I wanted to find out the mystery even with all of its flaws
