Should be required reading in high schools as a text book on the current Canadian political landscape and a lesson on what our democracy should be.
Even if your politics aren't Green, I recommend this book to anybody as an enlightening behind-the-scenes view of how Ottawa works.

I am continually impressed by May. This book is an excellent examination of the current political system in Canada - both the advantages and disadvantages. This book is a call to all Canadians and all politicians to demand a change in the functioning of the political system. For the most part, May avoids making partisan comments (though her disdain for Harper's Conservatives is evident). She gives credit where credit is due to the federal politicians from all parties who have helped to shape the country. Excellently researched and written, this book is for anyone who cares about the future of Canada.
