slightly worse than the last simply due to that weirdly jarring ending, but i’m enjoying the progression. not much to say, it’s the second book in a 5 book series y’know

I was having a good time and then it just stopped. The ending was really jarring.

This is definitely a middle-of-the-trilogy kind of book. Not a lot more than moving the story along, but there are some interesting developments, and the pacing and tension are great.

Solid Beach read. Nothing even close to literature, but that isn't the point, right. I like the extension of the original story. Fun to explore this universe.
