Call me crazy but I liked this one. About on par with the first two volumes in this series, although somewhat episodic and predictable. That doesn't mean it's not fun and that cool things don't happen. If anything, it's real flaw is that if they stretched this to a few volumes, these kids could have had a lot more fun in the ultimate universe. Funny and fast-paced, but it would be nice to see some creativity art-wise to go along with all of those pretty colors.
Some of the X-Men's best stories are when they journey into strange new worlds. This is a great example of that. While the Ultimate versions of the X-Men have never been my favorites, this was a super fun read. Seeing the young X-Men interact with yet another version of themselves was fun. Hank's interactions with (Spoiler) were great. I really enjoyed both Jeans here. The art by Mahmud Asrar is great! Each panel was a join especially his double page spreads. While probably terrible for new readers, this was a very good read.
2021 Summer (July);
Reread of Baby!Jean Arc
Most of these were read in a blur of summer bliss in a hammock in a backyard garden as I finally followed up on my original reads of the baby!Jean storyline that I'd gotten half into before falling out of again. I really do continue to love this storyline mostly for her.

The X-Men are not only out of their time but out of their dimension, that's kind of fun, particularly because bratty Cyclops isn't there, and old Cyclops is also not there.
Oh my, this was fun.
The time displaced x men are now in the wrong universe, having been transported by a new mutant to the Ultimates universe. 'You're not in Kansas anymore guys.'
Love two Bobbies, although our version is still my favourite. Angel is great in this. So is Miles Morales' Spider-Man. And Wolverine Jr. Even Jean Grey is bearable, even though there are two of her.
Brilliant.

This was a fairly entertaining alternate universe story. I loved the individual character moments as much or more than the actual overarching plot. Definitely don't start here but it is worth picking up if you've followed the series thus far. I loved the further moments between Angel and X-23 as well as Jean Grey's further development as leader of the X-Men.

Fun! Ultimate Marvel wasn’t perfect but Spider-Man and X-Men were the best parts, and this is a fun crossover with the time traveling X-Men and the Ultimate universe.
The art was not as good as I would have liked. It was cartoony and I'd like to think it terrible but I've seen so much worse. And this is a multiple worlds issue, presumably leading up to Secret War, and alternate worlds issues are rarely good. But this remains the best Jean Grey ever - well actually the only decently written one. And the different characters actually seemed different and similar and real. And Miles Morales is a pretty decent spider-man. 3.5 of 5.

The original X-Men have a small adventure and then come back. This is a pretty pointless story, but it hints at the end that it might have changed Beast and Jean's minds a bit.
