Really enjoyed this book which continued to drive the story forward and didn't run into the second-book-bore that so many series fall into. I enjoyed learning more about the characters, seeing how they have grown and changed, and I also enjoyed the new characters that were introduced. I was a little worried about a hole in the book from the loss of the main character at the end of the first book, but I didn't find that to be a problem.
I feel like the author is a better writer in this book, the transitions between viewpoints was handled much better and as a whole the story felt smoother and more consistent.
I'll definitely be picking up the next one in the series.

Continues the story of the first book in "The Expanse" series. Some favorite characters return Bobbie, the Martian Marine, is added as is Prax Meng and his daughter Mei. Onto the 3rd book.
