I liked this, but not as much as Cork Dork. I really appreciated the insight into the art world—that was a real journey. Her writing is often funny. I really related to the description early in the book about being confused about how to understand modern/contemporary art without context, and I think we kind of skipped a step. I guess the way to understand it is to spend a really long time staring at it, but I still feel like I’m missing something.

I think i still liked her first book more, but this was another fascinating dive into a small corner of the world and I can’t wait to see what she does next!

I couldn't get enough of this book. JUst enough parts memoir, weird art world stuff and information about humanity and art making. I have been raving non-stop about this book and it makes me want to reevaluate how I have been looking at art.
