Very, very cute book! I really enjoyed reading this story and appreciated the meta aspects and winks back to the audience. Can’t wait to watch the full shorts series this was based on.

The books itself is not bad, given it's origins as a YouTube shots series, and some pieces of the original dialogue have been included in the final draft. The main reasons why this book may not be everyone's cup of tea are a few. The main motif of the sentiments us a bit weak in the sense of development and in general one cannot say that the world-building remains on the surface level. The character cast is not diverse and the main characters resemble each other in emotional range department, which makes them both rather hard to connect to. The story of Caroline, the writer, is a bit of a hit and miss, as it does not provide the connection to the character as well and doesn't serve as a valuable insight into Caroline's life as a writer.
All in all it is a book that one might pick up for some fast read and entertainment, but this won't be the first thing to recommend to others, which is not actually something that can be said the original shorts series, that was rather engaging.

As someone who followed the creation process of this story on youtube shorts - I really enjoyed the way this book turned out.
Despite already knowing the plot, the writing style plus the additional detail, especially on Carolines sides as well in portraying the emotions of rosamund where nicely done
