What a great book. This was a perfect end to the saga of the Holland girls. I personally loved the ending. Yes, I would have like Diana and Henry together, Diana was not looking to be a society wife. I think Henry should have left it all behind to be with her. It is great that Elizabeth returned to being the girl who ran away to California, I am glad she saved herself from Snowdon.

One thing that I really loved about this series was how true to the characters it was. For example, the ending to the series certainly didn't leave me satisfied, but it made sense.
From the way that Godbersen wrote the other books, I could tell that the series wouldn't end in the way that I wanted it to end, which left me feeling slightly empty and sad (since I like a good, happy ending), but I enjoyed the series nonetheless. And it made me respect Godbersen more as an author since the ending did ultimately feel right.

The ending felt like a million cop outs. Come on! Henry is so much better than that. Lina is not that nice. So dissatisfied.
I was unsatisfied with the ending. It seemed like Diana gave up on her relationship with Henry too easily and Elizabeth was too dependent to take care of herself and her unborn child. She had to rely on Teddy to be there for her.
this series is so simple but yet so good and its hard to put the book down. its not a masterpiece but it also doesnt need to be. sometimes you just wanna read about a rich society and the drama amongst the families who live there.
The series wraps itself up in a pretty much satisfying way. I don't know if I could ever get behind after the beauty that was Liz and Will, but it is kind of sweet in its own way. I love Diana's arc, I think it is perfect for her even though I wanted .

Diana and Henry to get together so badly
Good ending to the series. Every character got what they deserved.
I read this out of a need for completion of the series, especially because the last one had such a ridiculous ending. It ended very neatly and left no questions so at least there's that.
