2.5 // I myself have never been one to read any sort of self help books, but I thought I may as well try it out given all the time I have from quarantine. Take my opinions on this book with a grain of salt, I may just not be adjusted to this format or genre of writing but from the perspective of rating it the same way I would any other book, this was just ok. While the advice was decent, it wasn't anything new. It was advice everyone has heard before time and time again, and I simply don't think that this book made it any more appealing.

worst "self-help" book ive ever read/listened to. author's narration was awful. she sounds self-centered, cocky, like a know-it-all, annoying, etc. none of her advice is revolutionary, and she tries too hard to be funny. she also offensively and very obviously throws shade at Marie Kobdo and her tidying methods. the ONLY reason i chose to finish it was because of how short the audiobook is so i could add a book to my goodreads reading challenge.

As someone who feels like I have my stuff together (dream job, no debt whatsoever, great relationships), I still felt like I learned something from this book. I read it to see if it would be a good book to give to my daughter, and I believe it is.
