I do love Jess and good portions of the story but it always leaves a bad taste in my mouth when the end gets preachy :(

This is a super easy read. Kind of hard to keep track of what’s then and what’s now, but it very much shows how grief can take its toll on someone.

I didn't expect to enjoy this book as much as I did, but it was so beautiful and well done. It was more about grief and recovery than romance, but the added element of young girls in love made it that much more relatable and memorable.

I loved this book.

Dealing with grief emerges differently in everyone (as we can see with Nina and Jess).

I loved that this didn’t involve a big coming out book, it involved characters who knew who they were and that’s who they were supposed to be. I love the love Jess and Vivi share.

I’m not sure why this book isn’t rated higher overall.
