This was a super cute MG read! I read the audio, which was full cast. That's always a plus. This was the story about the prince of darkness being banished to Earth and finding his own family. Definitely seems like something my son will like when he's older!
A perfectly fun little audio play with all the charm and depth of a Pixar story.
While this was a very nice audio performance, this story was just not stellar. The development of Beelzebub/Beezer was much too fast and unrealistic and it was all dialogue rather than a story. There were some cool noises/sound effects and the voice acting was pretty good, but this production was not an audiobook. It was missing a setting, descriptions, and originality. This story just was so lackluster.
I liked the unconventional family that had taken in Beezer, but it just was so awkward. The dialogue was cheesy and forced.
Just disappointing. I'm glad it was only 2 hours.

Aunque la historia fue algo predecible, los personajes me parecieron bien escritos y los amé. Es una linda historia sobre la importancia de la familia y los lazos que nos unen.

Audio book review.
Lol. Maybe I've just read or watched too many other interpretations of the devil and his offspring, but this one wasn't nearly as intimidating or funny or memorable as the others. Middle school book about the devil's son? Weird choice, but alright. I'd have to read again, but it felt unfinished, not a true story arc. Ah well, guess I'll just stick with Charley Davidson and the Winchester brothers. :)

A cute little story. Reminded me a little of the movie Little Nicky (which I don’t necessarily mean as an insult). The not quite evil enough son of the devil ends up on earth not sure how to interact with the populace. It was fun, and even a little funny (I think?). Listen, I listened to the audiobook of this is February apparently…while I was at work…and it wasn’t that memorable. A so-so book. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for something light and fun you can get through quickly. Not really a favorite though.
For a juvenile Childrens book it was pretty good. I thought it would be a quick, fun audio book read. I’m giving it 3 stars because I didn’t feel attached to the characters, honestly the only one I liked was Dash. I think a 9 or 10 year old would be intrigued and enjoy it more than I did. Sometimes I really enjoy younger children’s books, other times I’m more meh about them.
I picked this one up from the original mostly because of the cover and the blurb seemed fun, now I have to say that it was awesome, I had so much fun.
I actually hope there's more on this story later, the kids were so interesting and compelling, the idea of a new family like that was so nice.
Loved the positivism on Jessica side she was so good, and the part of inclusion absolutely fantastic, this should be a rule in our world.
Absolutely worth it, pick it up at once.
