This story answers the question to Hatchet, the first of this series; what if Brian never got rescued? I enjoyed this one a lot. It’s probably my favorite of the series so far. Very raw, real and very intense.

For me [b:Brian's Winter|141372|Brian's Winter (Brian's Saga, #3)|Gary Paulsen|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1438636861s/141372.jpg|241811] is a bit of a stretch, a bit unbelievable. He was just so, so lucky. However, that moment when Brian hesitates, when he thinks about what he is leaving behind before he gets on the plane to return to civilization...that is a powerful moment.
