Full of cliches and the plot wasn't very interesting. Predictable. One scene that really bothered me had to do with consent. A boy asked a girl "Can I kiss you?" and she responded that he shouldn't have asked because it ruined the moment, etc. If a young person read this and took that to heart I think it could do a lot of damage. They might not expect their partner to ask for consent before kissing or doing anything sexual, or might even think that asking is wrong when actually verbal consent is really important. There were several other moments in the book that rubbed me the wrong way (including the use of the word retarded to describe people), but this was the major one.
