Nice summer story. It seemed to drag a bit throughout but overall good. Ended on a rather sad note. 

I won’t be continuing on with the series. Obviously aimed at a younger audience. I sometimes found Belly a bit frustrating but maybe that was meant to be the point of her character. Her relationship with her mum made me a bit sad.

Easy to read.

A great book for teen girls/those who want to understand teen girls. Belly’s grappling with her own growing up and her womanhood are unbelievably relatable. This book cured my reading slump. Taking off points for a little bit of a lack of ~beautiful~ writing at some points (JENNY HAN I LOVE YOU PLS DON’T HATE ME) and some bumpy transitions, but overall a great read that I’m proud to have in my collection.
