This was a 'once I started it I kept on until I finished it' book. And when I finished it I had that wonderful, warm, wrapped in a hug feeling of contentedness. It's the same feeling I get after watching a Bridget Jones film. Cassie-Ann L. Miller has once again produced an amazing rom-com/chick-lit/damn-good-read book that had me caught up from the first few lines.

These are the shorter end of novel length books (not an issue, I like something I can read in one go) and I love that Ms Miller keeps the plot fairly simple. This allows her to character build, and boy are her characters something else. They are quirky, sexy and just so darn realistic I expect to meet them in the street. I loved Nicholas and Blakely with their super intense chemistry and their odd little foibles. The dominant streak in Nicholas was ultra sex. I would have liked that to have been explored a little more - maybe another time (please?!).

I loved the banter the main characters have with both their friends and family, it's part of what makes this series of books so special. I also had to giggle at the title of Blakely's books - the best fiction always has a little truth in it!

These books are well written, highly entertaining, fun, have good pace, interesting plots and are a delight to read. They are stand alone, you don't need to have read any of the other books to enjoy this. A word of warning though - you will WANT to read ALL of the books in the series, just because you'd be daft not to.
