Enzo is unhinged AF and I loved it. The boat, the cage, the detonators? The man has lost his mind and it made for a very fun (and crazy) read. I honestly didn’t care about Gia at all from the first book through this one, so that definitely impacted my rating. There’s nothing wrong with her, I just didn’t care about her so I didn’t feel engrossed in her story. I did grow to like the two of them together, which endeared me slightly to Gia. I definitely liked getting to see more of Enzo’s background and how the events of the first two books impacted him and his family. He’s a stubborn man and he def met his match with Gia. The narration was amazing! Giulio’s book is next in the series and I may scream if it disappoints me.
ARC Review
I truly didn't know what to expect when it came to this book, especially since you learn to hate Enzo in the previous books. Also, I don't read a lot of books when the villain gets the girl and I'm surprised on how much I enjoyed it. I think that Mila Finelli did a great job on this book and I just didn't want to put it down. I really wish that we got more of Enzo and Gianna but I think it's because we got two books of Fausto and Frankie so I just wanted more of them too.
I think that if you enjoyed Fausto and Frankie then you'll definitely enjoy this book since it has similar tropes like age gap and kidnapping. It was also similar to how we have Gianna and Frankie being strong woman but I think that Gianna was very interesting to pair with Enzo. I thought her story with Enzo would be too similar to the point that I would be reading the same story. However, I think it's the complete opposite since I feel like Enzo truly gave everything up for Gianna. I have to say he might be better than Fausto, FOR ME!
I thought that Enzo would be a bit conservative and machista like Fausto but he was completely different. He truly wanted Gianna to have the world because after they were together and he made peace with Fausto, he let Gianna go to Paris for a year where she was able to advance in her career. I think that's what made me really enjoy him and just absolutely love him. Even in the past books, it didn't seem like he was truly evil just the "bad guy" in this story. I think that getting to know him more in this book really shined a light on who he truly is and I wish that we got more of him.
Gianna has to be my favorite heroine in this series and I just love her so much. She was so different from owning her sexuality, pushing for her career, being there for her loved ones, and just being a strong independent woman. She's truly cool and I loved reading her story but I hope that we get more of her since I felt like the ending was truly just the start between them.
Overall, I truly loved everything about Gianna and Enzo's story. Even to how the very first time that they met and I think that just made it more angsty and taboo to that Gianna be with Enzo. I think that Gianna coming to terms with her feelings was a bit painful because she didn't get that much support from her family even though they later on say they do. I think that what Frankie says was very hurtful because she was picking on Gianna being a fuck up but also saying that she isn't one. I know that Gianna doesn't feel a lot of love from her family so I think their words hurt more than they thought. Also, I think she won at the end of the day because she was able to have everything that she wanted in life with no limits. She's able to have a career, see her family, travel, and do anything she desires without asking for permission.
Regardless, I think that this was a great book and I truly can't wait for the next one since I know just how wild it will be!

ALL THE STEAM IN THIS BOOK.
Let's be honest I did NOT want to like Enzo and Gia because I did not want to like Enzo at all. I had to do some deep breathing before even getting into this book because I knew it let Enzo be happy and I wanted him dead for messing with Fausto & Francesca while she was pregnant.
But that being said this book was actually a good read. I saw sides of our mafia man that I needed to so that I could see him as a true character.
We get so much goodness in this book
❤️ Enemies to Lovers
❤️ Forced Proximity
❤️ Captor/Captive
❤️ Humiliation Kink
❤️ Praise Kink
❤️ Age Gap
I am fully immersed in the world of these Italian Kings and the love that these sisters have for one another makes my heart smile. This is truly about overcoming so much to get to the point of love. It also shows how fierce love really is because someone out there will see you in your mess and still want you no matter what. That's true!
Also did anyone else start shaking with excitement over the peak into Guilo's book??? Because I did.

The tone of this book was much darker than the others in the series. May pick it up again later when I am in a different state of mind.

From just a smut perspective this is pretty solid lol. From a romance perspective, not so much. I feel like Enzo and Gia -barely- know each other, and Gia is definitely suffering from Stockholm syndrome. I did eat it up though, and I will read more books in the series :')
Enzo's relationships with his brothers was so funny to me. I loved his "you can pry my dumb ideas out of my cold, dead hands" attitude
