I received this book from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.

I love strawberries, I love cooking/baking, so this book was a match made in heaven for me. And that cover. It is a good thing it an ebook, otherwise I may have licked or nibbled the cover.

Strawberry Love is a beautifully presented collection of recipes developed and collected by Cynthia Graubart.Due out 27th April 2021 from Storey, it's 104 pages and will be available in paperback and ebook formats.
The first "real" homegrown strawberries of the season are always heavenly. We look forward to summer for our sweet perfect local berries. The season never seems to last long enough, but most years I manage to put up enough jam and pie fillings and frozen berries to last us until midwinter at least.

This little book is packed full of colorful appealing strawberries featured in a surprisingly creative and varied number of recipes both sweet and savory. The introduction contains some good tips on handling strawberries and general info on freezing, storing, and using them efficiently and with minimum waste. The following chapters contain the recipes, arranged roughly thematically: breakfasty things, savory recipes, and desserts.

The recipes have an introduction header description with ingredients listed bullet style in a sidebar. Ingredient measures are given in US standard only followed by step by step directions. Required ingredients are easily sourced and will be available at any well stocked grocery store. There are some gluten free and vegan friendly recipes included.

The photography and food styling are exceptionally well done and attractive. I found myself flipping through the recipes and having trouble deciding what I wanted to try first - they all look really good. In the end, we tried the strawberry lemon jam and the creamsicles. Both recipes were easy to follow and gave good results.

Four stars. This is a must have for gardeners (or readers with a pick-your-own farm within driving distance) who are looking for ways to use up those glorious delicious harbingers of summertime.

Disclosure: I received an ARC at no cost from the author/publisher for review purposes.

STRAWBERRY LOVE by Cynthia Graubart

Who doesn't like strawberries and all of the wonderful things you can do with them. My family makes a wonderful fresh strawberry pie or even simply crushes a few strawberries and serves them over ice cream. I wanted to find out more of the ways to enjoy the wonderful red berry.

The categories of recipes included are tips for cooking with strawberries; cook's notes; bright mornings; savory delights; and sweet treats. Something for everyone. Cookies, cakes, pies, beverages, gluten-free recipes, ice creams, sorbet, tacos, and pork chops it is impossible to go wrong with this cookbook.

Highly recommend. Beautiful full-color photographs of most of the prepared foods.

Much gratitude to #netgalley for the complimentary copy of #strawberrylove for the love of #strawberries I was under no obligation to post a review.

I love searching through recipe books and adore strawberries so this was a win win for me, there are so many lovely recipes in here and I’m excited to try many of them! Even more so for next year when we go hand picking strawberries again. All the recipes are very well written, clear and an easy to follow format.

This book is awesome for some fresh strawberry recipe ideas. 95% of the recipes honestly looked appealing and like something I would cook. I enjoyed the beautiful and bright pictures, especially of the desserts but even of the savoury dishes. Some of the savoury combos are a bit out of my comfort zone but the photographs make me want to give them a try.

This recipe book includes recipes for everyone. It has recipes for sweet treats, savory meals, and even a nice cocktail. I love how the introduction to this book included a little bit of history with strawberries and how to pick the best ones in the wild or in the grocery store.

So. Many. Delicious. Strawberry. Recipes! Strawberries are probably the best berry - you can eat them raw, as a jam, boiled, frozen, with sweet treats, savory dishes, and plenty of different alcoholic beverages. This book has some truly mouth-watering recipes. Just in time for strawberry season, too! Mmm, strawberries.
