I loved this super cute bite-sized holiday rom-com featuring a new neighbor and her klepto kitty. Sweet and witty dialogue, lovable cat, no angst, feel-good story. This was my first read from Jae, and I was very pleased. I can find no fault with the writing, the characters, and the plot. I will be reading more from Jae for sure. I quite enjoyed this one!
Edited to add: sometimes I find that short stories and novellas feel underdeveloped, but I absolutely did not have that issue with this one.

Super cute!! Cozy christmas vibes. I might reread in december to get into the christmas spirit.

The main characters are very lucky the cat played matchmaker because on their own they would have pined for each other forever.. wow they are disaster lesbians.. looking at each other longingly and being scared to say or doing anything that might hint at flirting, hahaha.
