Beautifully written language and great themes. It’s missing one star because I think I personally just don’t like fever-dream-like books too much. I think the drastic actions aren’t as enjoyable to me to warrant a 5/5 star, but it’s still a wonderful book.

Note to self: I read a third of the book then switched to only audiobook.

I'm surprised I enjoyed this so much. Usually I struggle with books that are written more poetically and abstract. There were sections that I lost interest in where I couldn't understand what was being said too easily but overall it was a good read. I audibly gasped several times, and even laughed once or twice.

Finally finished this book after putting it off for so long. Although Oscar Wilde is a genius writer (at least that's what people say), I for sure had a ton of trouble going through some of the days. Needless to say, this was one of most beautifully quotable books I read, and the theme along with the delivery of it definitely contributed to the high rating.
