I thought this book was just a bit slow for me, it was fast paced I'll admit, but it took long for me to care about the characters and the plot. The ending made me angry, and the writing was written in verse, but I was just not connecting to it. I dragged myself to finish this book, it just wasn't for me.

I don’t typically like poetry, but this was incredible. 

I started this on audio and was having a hard time getting into it. I found the ebook and started over and was able to engage much better. There’s a lot of different formatting that doesn’t convey well on audio. I ended up listening while reading and found that a really enjoyable experience. The book is worth reading so find the format that works for you and read it.

Oh. My. God. Honestly, I didn’t get the hype for the first half-ish of the book. I thought the writing was rich, but the characters were a love-hate relationship for me. Then… THEN… the payoff. I want to read this again immediately. My entire perception changed in a matter of seconds. IT MAKES SO MUCH MORE SENSE NOW.
