Very rarely do I finish a book and then feel like I want to go directly back to the beginning to start it all over again. This book made me want to do just that. So beautifully written and so many perfectly phrased sentiments.
A very quick read (<2 hours) — all through I was thinking “this is fine, this is good, I like this” and then it ended absolutely EXCEPTIONALLY. I have not been so surprised, satisfied, or thrilled with a novel ending in quite a long time, let alone a YA novel. 10/10 recommend for anyone of any age

This was gorgeous. I haven't read a lot of books in verse, but this was so lovely and even the moments of imagery and metaphor that are typically not what I love - even those moments felt true and lovely. And the end? Don't get me started. Made me want to restart the book from the beginning. Highly recommending to everyone.

I am so glad I just happened upon this audiobook when I was scrolling the "What's Available" list in my library app. This one is hard to describe - but it ripped my soul into 100 pieces and then put it back together again. It's a YA written in verse, read by the author, and the emotional journeys of the characters, read as poetry, was mind-blowing. Every time I turned it on I was pulled into the souls of the characters and their pain and their fear and their grief and their love. I struggled a little bit with some of the practical aspects of the story, but the payoff was completely worth it. Also? This book had the most lovely flash forward scene of any book I've ever read.
