I loved this take on OV. It’s got almost everything I love, and while there were definitely some parts/aspects I wasn’t a fan of, I fell in love with Talia and Jasper.

I do still find it hard to differentiate between the alpha guys, I almost wouldn’t be able to tell you who exactly is who. I hope this’ll get resolved in book 2 (or later on depending on how many books this series will get) by making them more distinguishable from each other.

The ending was brutal, and not for easily triggered people (non-con outside the harem) and there are some other events like that that have happened in Talia’s past that are briefly discussed. I absolutely can’t wait for book 2! I need to see Talia heal and be surrounded by love.

This book was fantastic! It’s a beautiful take on omegaverse which I really enjoyed. Talia is a strong-willed beta who wants to find a place where she can peacefully exist without overbearing alphaholes invading her space and ruining her life.

It’s safe to say that this pack is not the nicest to her but Jasper makes it worth it. The sexy little cupcake! Jasper is by far my favourite character and he is so needy and whiny and I’m here for it. Talia is so smart and badass and she takes control of every situation and deals with it like a Queen. Her previous experiences makes her so much stronger and I literally love her so much.

Side note: F*ck Devon

the writing is so monotone that it’s hard to imagine any emotion when people are speaking, and the characters are like a broken record repeating the same things across multiple POVs. really wanted to like this one because I liked the premise but just can’t deal with the writing style :(

**update**
forced myself to finish this since i did have to buy it to read it and like...it's fine? wouldn't have finished it if i hadn't paid for it lmao

I devoured this Omegaverse, that being said this is a Dark book with some fairly heavy triggers, some that come to mind are on pg SA, mental abuse/bullying, trauma as always do your own research and take care friends.

When I tell you I dropped every current read and did not sleep until I finished this book withing 24 hours of opening it up!!! I raged throughout the entire book at the treatment of Talia but omg is she such a strong badass! the fork scene!!!! Don't even get me started on the Alphas, I love them all but Devon! I'm going to need him to get his head out of his own rear long enough to realize what he has just lost.

I picked this book because it had virtually no description and I found the cover interesting. Then I dived in and I could not stop myself from swimming along.

So, this is an omegaverse type of book, in which you have designations like alpha, beta and omega. The divide is made based on the sexual chemistry that one has toward the others.

Usually, these types of books (at least what I have read, and mostly from Addison Cain) are purely sexual (porn basically). But it was not the case for this one. I mean, yeah there were sex scenes but they weren`t the focus of the book, more like they were elements to tight back together the larger plot.

I was amazed at what was I reading, sincerely. I have never read about a male omega who is not capable of being pregnant and being in the center of the book. I was also impressed at how the female protagonist refused to bend (metaphorically and literally) before any of the Alphas and she did not allow them to be too aggressive or domineering with her.

This book is definitely getting on my “what have I just read” shelf.
