3.5 stars - good writing with typical quirky English humour! A couple of bits I felt uncomfortable with / had to skip over.

I stumbled across this laugh-out-loud funny memoir and even though I don't have children and I live in the U.S., there were so many things I could relate to in Clare's life. Her musings definitely reminded me of reading Erma Bombeck nearly 40 years ago. I actually listened to the audiobook as read by Clare which made her stories all the more amusing.

Enjoyed this book very much. Laughed out loud sometimes and even tho I don't have any children it was fun to read these adventures of the Cotswold family.

It's the first book I read by this author and it was a great discovery!
I loved the story told, engaging and entertaining, how they are organized and the style of writing.
This book made me wish I could move to the Cotswolds.
A very good book, I look forward to reading other books by this author.
Highly recommended!
