The book felt reminiscent of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland except Folly was exploring Fairyland and a bunch of characters we know from fairy tales. Most of those she come across even have a story to tell, which was a fun part of Alice’s tales as well. I had fun reading it and laughed a bit throughout. Also, the illustrations, done by Wallace Morgan, remind me of John Tenniel’s original illustrations for Alice. Wells’s book proudly boasts being inspired by Carroll’s children’s novel, and it is plain to see how.

The edition I read was published by Evertype and has some typos but not too many to distract from enjoying the book.
