Not my typical genre so it was hard to get into for me. Regardless, I enjoyed the writing style and imagery the author portrayed. A lot of it felt repetitive with not enough action. I didn't DNF but it took me awhile to get through. This may be better suited for readers who are interested in the supernatural and magic.
