This was a quick fun read! Very atmospheric and had a good southern Gothic charm. 👌  I went into this book completelty blind and was pleasantly surprised at the queer love story at the heart of it. It's a little spooky, a little queer, and a really sweet take on overcoming grief.

This was recommended to me by a friend and I really enjoyed it. It took me a few chapters to get into, but a mystery was definitely building and I ended up reading the last 2/3 of the book in one evening. In the end I couldn’t put it down. 

I really loved all of the characters,
although definitely knew that something was off about Alice from the start, just didn’t expect what was off!

amazing book. grief becomes dangerous when you hold on too long, grief becomes destructive and ruinous. love the book, love the story, love the ending.
