It took a while to get going but once it did it was a quick read. It was never scary but it had a few creepy moments.
For some reason the scene with the moose has lingered with me for a days.

It was really easy to read. Definitely more YA with the easiness and tones. It was creepy but I never found it to be too scary. It was a very good book, not quite what I was expecting I was hoping for something scarier.

Also the two kids have the same name as my kids.

I was hoping for more of a haunting book with all the review comparisons. I never felt creeped out by the book, it was more like a morbid interest read. I think it was cleverly done.
