A sassy detective in an multi-species world, gets into more trouble than she cares to admit. When a handsome vampire admits to loving her scent ( and really loving it, if you get my meaning ), she's not sure if she should give into it. Said vampire has been living in seclusion by his own design and never expected to meet someone that could make him lose control.
This story is great as the female lead is strong. It has a compelling plot that leaves you wanting more. There's a potential for a long series here and I believe the author is writing the next book!! The heat level is steamy and left me wet!
I definitely recommend it.

Amazing book to read. Couldn't put it down. Five star book. Highly recommend it. I do plan on rereading it. The cover fits to what the book is about. The blurb is what caught my eye to read this book.

4.5 stars :)
First vampire book I’ve enjoyed in a long time. Callie and Gabe were interesting, well-rounded characters (Callie’s sass and sense of humour reminded me of a more likeable version of Anita Blake) and the plot was fast-paced and exciting. The vampires had a heck of a lot of super powers, some of which had me raising my brows at times, but it didn’t take away my enjoyment of the story. I loved the supporting characters, especially little George. I’m hoping Syl gets his own story at some point, I assume Leo & Val will as well. Looking forward to more books in this series.
