A very solid 4.25 stars.

A great page turner with lots of twists and turns, some if which I picked but many others I didn't.

A thoroughly enjoyable thriller which was intriguing right to the end.

This had some pretty good twists and I did eventually guess where this was going but it took awhile! Very satisfying. I decided to read this instead of watch the show and I’m glad I did.

Do not expect to get any sleep. I couldn’t put this down and now I’m sleep deprived.
I enjoyed Call me Evie with its tension and twists, an excellent psychological thriller so very excited to read this book.
J.P. Pomare is a genius in this genre, what an incredible imagination. The unfolding story surprised me totally. I’m not writing a synopsis, spoilers will ruin the plot. I’m following this writer; I will read his future books. Highly recommend.

This book is very different to other thrillers I’ve read. I can’t help but feel that the first half of the book came across as filler and that it wasn‘t totally necessary – at least not in the way it was formatted. I think it could’ve been organised a lot better. I also felt the twists were very predictable, which is upsetting given how they obviously aren’t meant to be. All in all, not the best thriller I’ve read!
