Maybe I'm not the intended audience? Although, idk who that would be. The PPD stuff; I could absolutely relate to it since I got hit pretty hard with it. But that's it. Everything felt all over the place, like just random thoughts written down. Some seemed to be 'flashbacks' but then the next sentence would be present time and it just got really confusing. The title and cover def drew me in; but I'd say if you're looking for a lineal story, this isn't the one for you.

This was cool and the writing was very good, I didn't really click with the plot. I got the impression there were conversations between this book and others in some literary canon that were outside my domain. Perhaps if I read more of those other books, this one would be a bit more legible to me. I also really enjoyed the main narrative voice much more than the "letters", which struck me as accurate and well-voiced but tedious. I have my own stashes of teenage writing if I want to read something along those lines. Overall, just didn't work that well for me.

I really really did not like this book. I was traveling and it’s the only book I had, so I continued on with it. The main character was very unlikeable and I had to guess what was going on for the majority of the book. Seemed just like a random stream of consciousness. Eek. Why are people saying this book is good???
