This was riveting! Very well written, had me guessing multiple times, and has a very good ending. This was hard to put down!

I flew through this book. It was an easy though intense read and had some great quotables. Overall, I would recommend this to my friends for the interesting mystery and resolution as well as for the Greek references! Also, I did notice that the author referenced snow frequently. I would say the author uses snow to emphasize how innocence and happiness is always fleeting and just out of your grasp. Snow also symbolizes new beginnings which... is rather ironic.

most insane, nausea-inducing twist ever. had to throw the book away from me because i almost felt guilty for its events. fell right into michaelides's trap
of thinking that a. the narrator was reliable, b. that he genuinely wanted to help and that no abuse of power would possibly take place
